and so i missed my third straight All Star Weekend :(
but still, thanx to the internet, ive updated myself with the winners, and more importantly the highlights and happenings of that weekend.
Here's my recap
Dunk Competition - This year's dunk contest isnt the best one, in fact, FAR from it, even when compared with the previous, '06 and '05 year's show. The guy i tagged as the 'guy to watch' won it, Mr. Gerald Green from Boston. Not too exciting but i guess, enough to win i suppose. Big Howard did well but not enough, Nate like he was dunking without passion and who the fuck is Tyrus Thomas remained who the fuck is tyrus thomas.
3 Point Shootout - Didnt catch the highlights and replays for this event, cant be bothered. White dude Jason Kapono won it, his final round tally was 24/30 points.. which is kinda cool i suppose (not sure how many he hit, money balls are worth double)
All Star Game - West pissed all over the East. Kobe was in great shape, sharp and cutting the lanes like hot knife through butter, and thus won the MVP (Most Valuable Player) award of the day. The East team looked lethargic and lost. Shaq looks like he has difficulties moving on court, played point guard(some sorta ritual for him), danced all over the floor during halftime and missed a point blank dunk. King James forced most of his shots like always and D.Wade looked reeaaallly tired.

2. Dwight Howard, 6'11" (Magic)- Are you fucking serious? D-How's a monster!! he wont be putting much flair in his dunks, but this dude is HUGE and POWERFULL, and just sooo athletic!! Expect 'OOOO' and 'AHHHH' when he dunks..
3. Gerald Green, 6'8" (Celtics)- Some lanky dude from Boston, thin, lanky and athletic, he'll be the guy to watch. I doubt he'll put up a masterpiece but he'd do well i suppose.

Damon Jones (Cavaliers) - Jones pisses me off sometimes in games, coz he just fucking shoots the 3pointers all the fucking time!! trigger happy looser...
Jason Kapono (Heat) - Roleplayer who gets very little play time, he does abit of everything, and shoots the long ball when necessary, with a hit rate of .559, he's gonna be pretty sharp.

Dear me, i never knew diamonds could be soooooooooo expensive!!
i thought well, we got tina a diamond necklace, it was 1.2k, big deal.
BUT! those are like asswipe ones :P.. i mean compared to the ones i was introduced to today!
Genuine, certified South African diamonds! i mean, a bracelet of say 20 diamonds .. caviar sized ones(sorry cant think of any other thing that size atm) cost a whopping 300k!!

met up wif.. err a high school accquaintance Jen at the train station then went to Sg. Wang early in teh.... wait no, just before midday. We attended this... 'bloggers' meet there. (the annual BIG BLOGGERS MEET)
well.. its basically a congregation of camwhores but twas okaayla...
met some few ppl .. and.. well..
actually.. for some reason i could not bring my extrovert self to surface, preferring to lean back behind the shadows and observe human nature.. as ive alwayz done when im 'lazy' or 'not motivated' to mingle..... but still.. there are people friendly enuff .. and easy going enuff for me to .... 'interact' with even in such an introverted state. These are the ones that u'll see temporarily populating my chatbox for a short while.

The party is at some jazz club called Cotton Club, and its a formal occasion thus...

before i elaborate further.. SERIOUSLY MALAYSIAN WORKERS SUCK ASS!!! i mean.. when we got to the shopping mall where the club is located, we have no idea where is this Cotton Club so i approached the mak cik security.. and

guard: ooo, kat tingkat 5, kena naik lif
me: t'ma kasih!
so we proceeded up the lift, we ended up ... at the car park!!! and no cotton club in sight!! goddamit?
so we called a friend (coz me, arsalan, joel and kh were brilliant enuff NOT to bring our invites) and it said g-11 which is teh ground floor!! so we grumbled all our way down to G and looked around the place where the lot11 should be and nothing, so we asked a Guess? girl, she said its just right upstairs after the escalator! lvl2 now eh!! we're like wtf???!?!? so we went up stairs and did found cotton club, but apparently la... we're suppose to.. enter from.. downstairs...... brilliant.... ..
So anywayz yada yada yada went in, hugged bday girl, gave her prezzies, waited for the rest to arrive and let the partay commence!!

food first of course, and that was when i bumped into.. none other..

more friends arrived, and now theyre split into 'parts of tina's life' which are primary school buds, highshcool buds, college (sunway) buddies and church buddies, not to mention her extended family.. AND step family :P
for most parts of the night, i was moving around the highschool corner to the sunway corner, then occasionally to soo jin's corner(and torment her with that just made her wanna not look at me hahahah) as well as chats with family members (introducing roomate numero uno!)
the moving around n chatting was accompanied by a glass of beer of course..
the... bottomless one.... one where u chat, take a few big sips, look at ur friend, chat, look back and VIOLA! full again! so u continue sipping...
it generally fills up after halfway drank so... i lost count at the 9th refill, which would be about 5 glasses, and the night was young :D
the free flow of Jim Beam scotch whiskey later on however... was..
a killer... im a sucker for pure whiskey on the rocks, but after 2 glassfulls...
that and the fact i was out all day since 10... made me rather... well.. tipsy ? :D
and WILLIE kept refilling them glasses for me!! kill him!
by the end of the day... most of us were pretty well under the influence...
just like how a free flow alchohol party should be :P
tina's dad was hugging every1, i was, well... fully conscious.. yet unable to fully control my bodily movements... the rest of the boyz were either talking a dam lot about loads of bull or just keeping quiet. Ken Han refused to down too much as he knows he's the 'designated' driver...
thus.. the MRF(most reliable friend) award goes to mr Yap Ken Han..
then.. go home time! 2:30am, we headed to a palce to grab some supper, wa tan hor and chicken wings... where i could barely hold pieces of noodles between my chopsticks, and suddenly i feel as if i was struggling to keep conscious and..
dunno.. i think KH sent me back to pei lin's house were i stayed the night
(i fucking got a boner on till next morning la, my god, dam uncomfortable)

Gilbert Arenas (Wizards) - Arenas can score from anywhere on the court! and is a decent enuff trey shooter yet i suppose he's more of a scorer then a shooter.
Damon Jones (Cavaliers) - Jones pisses me off sometimes in games, coz he just fucking shoots the 3pointers all the fucking time!! trigger happy looser...
Jason Kapono (Heat) - Roleplayer who gets very little play time, he does abit of everything, and shoots the long ball when necessary, with a hit rate of .559, he's gonna be pretty sharp.
Mike Miller (Grizzeys)- A well known shooter, and he's WHITE! white guys shoot better!! :P
Jason Terry (Mavericks) - Can shoot the 3point ball. Wont win the competition.

- Sooo.. Martin Scorsese FINALLY won an Oscar!!!.. and sadly it isnt even Best Director!! he got the 'Lifetime Achievement' award (or rather the 'aiyah kasi lu chan la , i bagi u hadiah juga' award). Love hollywood!! If ya'll dont know who Mr Scorcese is, he da man behind movies such as Gangs of New York (my fav amongst his), The Aviator, The Departed, The Goodfellas and many more great feature film pieces..
He's also know for the overuse of mr Leo Dicaprio.

Dear me, i never knew diamonds could be soooooooooo expensive!!
i thought well, we got tina a diamond necklace, it was 1.2k, big deal.
BUT! those are like asswipe ones :P.. i mean compared to the ones i was introduced to today!
Genuine, certified South African diamonds! i mean, a bracelet of say 20 diamonds .. caviar sized ones(sorry cant think of any other thing that size atm) cost a whopping 300k!!
and my mum went 'so, when are u gonna get me one of these?' and i said, 'well, i'll buy u a brand new car instead :D '
and in the class shelf, theres this other choker, a thickass choker probably 2 inches thick with diamonds everywhere. I dont wanna know how much that thing is...

After the haircut i strolled around n dropped by a celeb-fitness booth to flirt around with thoose skinny girls and talkabout sex.. err i mean.. health and fitness... they coerced me to perform a.... bodyfat% test.. and....
OWH MY GOD!!! i have 16% bodyfat!!! holy crap? i mean well according to her thats still healthy but.. i used to be under 10%!!! nowonder my err.. assets arent as visible as before :(.. sigh sigh.. its back to the training room (in my case, just my roomla, i've never been to a proper gym ever!)
sigh.. 16%... (16.8 actually but .8 is negligible isnt it? :P)

this one saturday has been hectic yet fantastic!
met up wif.. err a high school accquaintance Jen at the train station then went to Sg. Wang early in teh.... wait no, just before midday. We attended this... 'bloggers' meet there. (the annual BIG BLOGGERS MEET)
well.. its basically a congregation of camwhores but twas okaayla...
met some few ppl .. and.. well..
actually.. for some reason i could not bring my extrovert self to surface, preferring to lean back behind the shadows and observe human nature.. as ive alwayz done when im 'lazy' or 'not motivated' to mingle..... but still.. there are people friendly enuff .. and easy going enuff for me to .... 'interact' with even in such an introverted state. These are the ones that u'll see temporarily populating my chatbox for a short while.

Moving on... i lingered around abit in PJ till 7 before heading to KL once more to attend miss Christina Chan's 21st birthday!... for all of u who are unware of our relationship, shes my roomate of 2 years! and counting! and a personal friend of mine.. for about a third of my young life...
The party is at some jazz club called Cotton Club, and its a formal occasion thus...
every1 should be looking good :P
before i elaborate further.. SERIOUSLY MALAYSIAN WORKERS SUCK ASS!!! i mean.. when we got to the shopping mall where the club is located, we have no idea where is this Cotton Club so i approached the mak cik security.. and
me: m'cik, tumpang tanyer, cotton club nih kat mane?
guard: ooo, kat tingkat 5, kena naik lif
me: t'ma kasih!
so we proceeded up the lift, we ended up ... at the car park!!! and no cotton club in sight!! goddamit?
so we called a friend (coz me, arsalan, joel and kh were brilliant enuff NOT to bring our invites) and it said g-11 which is teh ground floor!! so we grumbled all our way down to G and looked around the place where the lot11 should be and nothing, so we asked a Guess? girl, she said its just right upstairs after the escalator! lvl2 now eh!! we're like wtf???!?!? so we went up stairs and did found cotton club, but apparently la... we're suppose to.. enter from.. downstairs...... brilliant.... ..
So anywayz yada yada yada went in, hugged bday girl, gave her prezzies, waited for the rest to arrive and let the partay commence!!

food first of course, and that was when i bumped into.. none other..
then miss Lim Soo Jin! ahhh... my first ever... errr... 'love affair'
this waas 7-8 years ago....... wooo!

buuttttt still not up to MY standards! *nyeh nyeh*
Soo Jin and me, after lots n lotsa drinks...
soo.. yada yada yada, layan my tummy first.. food was great! only ever had 2 dishes, chicken and lamb, coz theyre both fantastic..
more friends arrived, and now theyre split into 'parts of tina's life' which are primary school buds, highshcool buds, college (sunway) buddies and church buddies, not to mention her extended family.. AND step family :P
for most parts of the night, i was moving around the highschool corner to the sunway corner, then occasionally to soo jin's corner(and torment her with that just made her wanna not look at me hahahah) as well as chats with family members (introducing roomate numero uno!)
the moving around n chatting was accompanied by a glass of beer of course..
the... bottomless one.... one where u chat, take a few big sips, look at ur friend, chat, look back and VIOLA! full again! so u continue sipping...
it generally fills up after halfway drank so... i lost count at the 9th refill, which would be about 5 glasses, and the night was young :D
the free flow of Jim Beam scotch whiskey later on however... was..
a killer... im a sucker for pure whiskey on the rocks, but after 2 glassfulls...
that and the fact i was out all day since 10... made me rather... well.. tipsy ? :D
and WILLIE kept refilling them glasses for me!! kill him!
by the end of the day... most of us were pretty well under the influence...
just like how a free flow alchohol party should be :P
tina's dad was hugging every1, i was, well... fully conscious.. yet unable to fully control my bodily movements... the rest of the boyz were either talking a dam lot about loads of bull or just keeping quiet. Ken Han refused to down too much as he knows he's the 'designated' driver...
thus.. the MRF(most reliable friend) award goes to mr Yap Ken Han..
then.. go home time! 2:30am, we headed to a palce to grab some supper, wa tan hor and chicken wings... where i could barely hold pieces of noodles between my chopsticks, and suddenly i feel as if i was struggling to keep conscious and..
dunno.. i think KH sent me back to pei lin's house were i stayed the night
(i fucking got a boner on till next morning la, my god, dam uncomfortable)
